Digimon World 3

One regret I have about this game is that I sold it some years ago and realized what a huge mistake that was. The game is charming and it felt pretty nostalgic playing it on my PS1 long ago.

Not sure what compelled me to sell it. When I browse at how much it costs the lowest is almost 100 dollars nowadays.

If anything, I might buy it yet again to add it back to my collection. For now I will just dwell on memories of fascination and regret.

Finished Dr. Stone: Science Future

So I caught up with Dr. Stone and made it through the first part of the Science Future ark and it was as expected, fully enjoyable and immersible. I don't think I could ever get bored of this series. Too bad the second part is yet to be available but I am willing to be patient till it is.

And Kohaku is still my favorite.

About Me/Other Info: I'm a French guy who's constantly trying to post more on this website, and right now what my brain craves is more activity on my Reading page. o7 I'm participating in

sunshine_revival which has been helping with the posting, but my Reading page is pretty slow and I'd really like to get more people on there so we can all post alongside each other. Or something. I'm mostly looking for people who post about fandom stuff, but the actual fandom isn't super important to me (though if we have fandoms in common, that's great!) I'm more into the vibe of shared enthusiasm/passion, you know? I'll show you the little (size neutral) guys (gender neutral) that make my heart soar, you'll show me yours. That sort of stuff.

Main Fandom: My main fandom is Pokémon, specifically Pokémon X&Y. It's been my ride or die for over a decade now, though I've been a general/more casual Pokémon enjoyer since 1999. I love the creatures (all generations, though I don't know the ScaVio ones very well yet) and I love the characters (especially the Kalosian ones, but my heart is open to most of them.) In general, I'm largely into the games, and not so much into the rest, but that doesn't mean I dislike it.

Non-Fannish Interests: Right now, I'm super into webdev and web design. I also like and am curious about all kinds of arts and crafts (trying to get back into sculpting and painting lately, also picked up cross-stitching through one of my partners.) I miss taking long walks around a lake, and I love animals (I have two cats!) I also enjoy washing the dishes...

Nintendo bans Switch 2 owner for playing Switch 1 games on his console

Man, gaming seems harsher as time goes on. Doesn't help when companies like Nintendo are pretty harsh themselves when it comes to their own games. Seemingly this guy bought Switch 1 games on a Facebook marketplace and tried them on his Switch 2 console, updating them from their site to have them running. Sometime later bans him for trying out said games and when calling Nintendo he got notice that said games were pirated allegedly, to which the person in question went on providing evidence tha he got them legitimately.

Well the thing was that if the Switch reads a game you own twice, it might be seen as a pirated one, which still sounds ludicrous. I know Nintendo can be so paranoid and defensive about their games in business but damn.

Recent Playing: Disco Elysium

This weekend I finished my first playthrough of Disco Elysium, a primarily text-based game which involves investigating a murder in a fictional world.

It's difficult to know what to say about Disco Elysium. The game has, as you may or may not have heard, a phenomenal amount of text in it, and you will only encounter a portion of it on any given playthrough. Having been through it only once, I've seen only a fraction of the game's full text. And it has a lot to say.
