The sun shines and flags wave at the inauguration of the journey. Beginnings can occur at any age and in any circumstances, whether you are dressed in a beggar's ragged clothes or a tycoon's power suit. The world lies before you with myriad paths, possibilities and opportunities. What can you accomplish? Will you be a liberator, a tyrant, or something of little note in between? Are you overconfident? Will you listen to the advice of those that surround you? Is their advice worth listening to? Is there a cosmic plan being followed, or is this an exercise in improvisation? Much will remain unknown, and there will certainly be mistakes and regrets, but the journey has begun.
There may be disasters to come: pain to weather, monsters to fight, and dreaded truths to face. Fear of these things should not prevent you from beginning the journey.
